30 Seconds to Midnight

Introduction

In the distant future, the world teeters on the edge of doomsday. Cities, once bastions of civilization, have descended into chaos as ruthless gangs seize control.

Lawlessness prevails, and survival hinges on forging unlikely alliances or embracing fierce rivalries. Amidst the turmoil, desperate factions vie for power, each driven by a unique vision of the future.

In this dystopian landscape, every decision could mean the difference between life and death.

About

30 Seconds to Midnight integrates the game aids from the "30 Seconds" board game into a fast-paced, fun and simple Miniature-agnostic skirmish game for 2-4 players. 

The game is quite easy to pickup and play and a game between 2 players typically take anything between half an hour to an hour. I recommend playing a game without the timer first just to learn and understand the ruleset.

The rules also fit neatly on a single A4 sheet and you are provided 5 paper minis you can cut out and use to play at your convenience.

What you need

Even though the game was developed with the 30 Seconds game aids in mind, it is not a necessity. If you don't have the 30 Seconds board game, then you can still play. All you need is the following:

• 30 Second Timer (A phone's timer works great)

• A Standard 6-sided die
  • The dice from the 30 Seconds board game has the following values which can be converted from a standard D6.
  •  Conversion below (D3-1):
    • 0 = 1/2
    • 1 = 3/4
    • 2 = 5/6

• Measuring Tape / 12 Inch Ruler

• 30 x 22 inch game space, with anything that can function as terrain

• 5 x 28mm minis of your choosing or the provided paper minis per player

I'm planning on fleshing this game out in the future as it's been quite fun to play, so watch this space.
